TAEGUK POOMSE

Explaination of each poomse pattern is available by selecting it from the menu and following the steps.

Proper demonstration of poomse steps is required during gradings. Don't worry if they look too hard now. You will have plenty of help and expert coaching during practice sessions.

Note:

  • Direction in the “Foot Action” column refers to the direction you move from the current position, so if you are facing the back of the dojang, then turning 90° right results in you facing the left of the dojang.
  • The “Direction” column refers to the direction relative to your starting place, that is, when you start facing the front of the dojang, “front” is always towards the front of the dojang.
  • In the “Stance” column, “Right front stance” and “Right short stance” mean the right foot is in front. But “Right back stance” and “Right cat stance” mean the right foot is back.
