Score required – 62%
1) 15 Push-up & 15 Sit-ups
2) Basic blocks with counter attacks – facing
partner in horse-riding stance, five punches for each block
a) Lower block with solar-plexus punch
b) Minor outside block with knife-hand strike
c) Body block with elbow strike
d) Upper block with palm strike
e) Outside block with second knuckle strike to throat
3) Kicking techniques – facing partner, five kicks with
each leg.
a) Front kick followed by roundhouse kick with the other leg (both
aimed at stomach
b) Side kick followed by stepping side kick (both aimed at stomach)
c) Double front kick (aimed at groin then face) followed by jumping
front kick (stomach)
4) Self-defence -wrist rolls
a) Grabbing same-side wrist
b) Grabbing opposite-side wrist
c) Grabbing lapel, palm upwards
d) Grabbing top of shoulder, palm down
Strangles:Grabbed
from the front:
a) Push fingers into opponent's throat
b) Swing arm over wrists to break the hold, come back with elbow to
opponent's face
c) Swing arms under opponent's wrists to break the hold, then over.
Lock opponent's arms under yours and punch ribs.
