Requirements – 4th GUP
Score required – 72%
1) 35 Push-up & 35 Sit-ups
2) Kicking techniques – facing partner, five kicks with each leg.
a) Roundhouse, going forward spinning back fist, inside crescent kick.
b) Roundhouse kick to the stomach, going forward spinning heel kick to the
face, follow up with roundhouse to the stomach.
c) Axe kick to the face, going forward then turning back kick with the other
leg, then spinning heel kick.
3) Self-defence
Wrist rolls (3 types)
Strangles (3 from the front, 2 from behind)
Head locks: (3 different types)
Hair grabs (2) and Full nelson
Bear Hugs
a) From in front: Break out by pushing palms against opponent's
thighs
to create room in order to bring knee into groin; then swing leg
through to take opponent down.
b) From behind: Break out by twisting hips to left or right, step behind
opponent's leg and straighten up, throwing off balance.

Locks
a)
Locking up wrist, elbow strike to ribs then bending arm into chest
and applying pressure downward on wrist
b)
Grabbing arm, elbow strike to face, then lock up arm putting
pressure on elbow joint c)
Opponent pushing on chest - push arm down, step
behind and lock up behind opponent's
back
4) 1 Step self-developed: Against partner in ready stance; partner
throws a punch or kick. Block attack, and deliver three counter techniques.
5) Taeguk 4, 5 and Kicking pattern
6) 8 step combination: Each combination consists
of 1 kick followed by any two hand techniques (blocking or striking),
to be performed consecutively.
7) Free sparring: Tournament and street style.
